TR Cleveland Group had a visit to the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough which included the chance to walk over the top for those up to the task. At over 200 ft above the river at high tide it is not for the faint hearted. The cross wind added to the excitement and we also saw where Bungee jumpers leap from - this should be on the calendar before too long !

A taster of the 1st Mugello Historic Race meeting. Jerry Hooper raced his Chevron B8 sports racing car during the weekend and took me and fellow se7ener Martin Fenn along as transport/pit crew (not as easy as it sounds - a 3000km plus round trip !)

The 20th anniversary of our popular local Triumph show, it was also the year the founder, Dave Ferguson, stood down as the joint oranizer. The disco theme was period dress and as an added treat some blokes brought along a couple of Rolls Royce Merlin aero engines for us to marvel at and boy did they sound good.
